Upcoming C.O.O.L Courses

Note for all C.O.O.L. Courses:

You must attend both classes each week to achieve desired training results. The course is intended to be completed within a 7 week period, however due to the outdoor nature of the course, some classes may be postponed due to bad weather. Average run time of the course is 8.5 weeks. There are no classes during long weekends. Click here for more details about the C.O.O.L. Course.

Please note that the introductory seminar is mandatory to attend prior to coming to the hands on classes. If you don’t attend, you can not participate in the course and your deposit may be forfeit.

COVID-19 UPDATE: We are REALLY excited to be getting back to teaching, but these courses will ONLY run if it is safe to do so at the time the courses are set to start. Our hope is that we won’t have to postpone these lessons, but please bear in mind that it is contingent on what the recommended guidelines are at the time these courses are set to start.

We are keeping our class sizes to a maximum of twelve dogs so we are able to maintain social distancing protocols. Classes will be slightly modified from our usual format for everyone’s safety. We are giving priority to clients who have taken our classes previously either online, with a previous dog, or one of our Proper Pupper courses. If you are unsure if you are eligible to take this course, please contact us directly at 403-472-2384.

Typically we only take a $150+gst deposit at the time of registration, and then we collect the remainder during the introductory seminar. We will be hosting the seminar over Zoom, so we are taking the full course fee when you register to limit any close contact. The $150 deposit will still be non-refundable, but the remainder of the balance will be refunded if this course is postponed more than a month. No other refunds will be processed due to the smaller class sizes. We will also be schedule a curbside leash/collar pick up before the first hands on class and give you a specific time to come. You must pick up your equipment before the course begins otherwise you will be unable to participate and asked to leave.
